The Thodos Scenic House is a landmark home in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, and was designed to take advantage of the spectacular view of Carmel Bay.

The two story wooden portion of the home facing East overlooks a Master Bedroom Garden Suite that turns its back to the street. Constructed of concrete and recessed into the ground, the garden suite connects the two portions of the home by an underground passageway with a secret room, lit by a large skylight, the owner utilized as a artist studio.
